Default INTRO + brake lights question

hey guys, so ive been browsing this forum for the longest. and i decided to finally join now that my dad is forsure giving his gs400 to me.

well one of the many things bothering me that i wanna fix are the two small inner tail lights, the brake lights. instead of the stock dark red color its a pinkish faded color, my friends have recommended using redout and just paint it back to the normal red color. but i was wondering if theres a legit way of fixing this or any other way in general.

thanks in advance

I head the 01-05 ones are fixed, so that they don't fade. You can either buy a used set of 01-05 tailights or get a pair of LED tail lights. People usually go for the LED look unless they can afford the JP look. Either way it just depends on what you want, I don't think repainting would look good.
