actually the 2000 and under ones are weaker. this problem was corrected on the 2001 + models

my vote is maintenance and then suspension

maintenance? like what? It doesn't need anything, besides the parents pay for that, not me.

pics coming tonight! higher quality pics coming in the future when I get a nicer camera. The car is in the shop right now getting the headlights worked on, hopefully clearing them up, and the sub rattling fixed. Washed the car last night so it's looking good for pics tonight. Anyone got any suggestions for chrome exhaust tips?

There are alot of exhaust tips that look good on the GS, I've got Magnaflow double walled tips that I really like, Borla's and a few others look great as well. Search exhaust tips and you can find pics of many options.

Welcome to CL! Those wheels look like the stock chrome 16's to me, (I could be wrong but those look like my stockies) I'd look into your options on replacing them. If you can find some used springs and some OEM wheels like the G35 wheels or larger Lexus wheels that would make the biggest differance in the looks of the car.

yeah, they're stock, but they're still pretty rare around here, every other GS I've seen in my area has the alloy wheels which don't look too good in my opinion. What size tips do I need? And yeah, I've been searching trying to find some, they will def make the chrome on the trunk pop more, and also make the rims look better. I'm also thinking about replacing the trunk bezel with a chrome one which would add to the chrome look. And I'm also considering puddle lights for about $60, what do you think?

Hey, I replied to your PM with a link for a bunch of pics, should help you decide on the exhaust tips. I personally wouldn't do puddle lights on a relatively stock car. IMHO, it can get tacky if you start putting too much stuff like that on a car before you've got the basics like wheels and suspension. To each their own though, that's nothing more than my opinion, and it's not worth much when it comes to anyone's car but my own. We all have found our own path in modding our cars., it wouldn't be interesting if everyone's car looked the same!
