lol i have wheels all over in my room.. the ones in the pic are from a 01 eclipse... 17inch one set is stock .. and the other one is 17inch chrome aftermarket.. it has a bent in the back... and i have one set of 20inch wheels sittin on the other corner.. and a different 20inch wheel (damages alittle on the back) sitting on the other corner.. i guess i like to connect wheels... and keep em as show peices?

ok first what do you mean by the neons melted. bc u put it too close to the air box. how did that happen, its not that hot. also regards to making it all out of plexiglass. that shouldnt matter too much, it wont melt. yea ur right it wont block the heat, but im not too concerned with that. i made my own air intake for my rx and alot of peopl said not to make it out of pvc piping. bc it would melt. but it hasnt so i guess it doesnt get too hot. does pvc piping have a higher metling temp than plexiglass?

i think PVC piping would withstand more then plexiglass...plexiglass is bendable/easily breakable.. its just like cleap plastic...but thicker...

PVc pipe can take more heat in my opinion.. my friends with his celica used a PVC pipe to extend the intake's length... and had no problmes...

But seriously i defiently recomment sheetmetal... it definetly works on getting/keeping the cold air inside.... sheet metal is also easy to workwith... easy to cut.. and wont break ezly like plexi.

Becarefull!!!
plexiglass , when you cut it it release's some sort of chemical to make plexi-glass (when you cut it youll smell something that smeels like superglue or crazy glue) stay away from that.... its rated one of the Top things that causes cancer.....

Cold air = good
Sheet metal = good
lol

and plus you wont find anything that looks good and holds all the plexiglass peices together...

my top blue neon melted because the airfilter was rubbing agnist it.. constantly...

oh and one more thing....

PAINT does not stick good to the plexiglass... dosent stick good @ all... it gets all smeared.. and weard lookin.. you would have to sand down the part you wanna paint... and then on the other side of the glass it would look all ugly because its sanded then painted.
