Default Left Rear Window....Need a FIX!

I have a 99 GS300...My back left window won't roll down. When I activate the switch, I can hear something working or at least trying to work. I went the fuse route, but nothing was blown. Any ideas, in lieu of pulling off the door panel and replacing the motor/regulator...What about the small black box behind to door panel? The regulator motor plugs into it and it could be bad or something?

I did pull the panel off and it looks difficult to replace and hard as hell to see anythhing.

Anyone with the same problems? Any ideas on fixing or diagnosing the problem?

Thanks in advance.

I think that there is a DIY on how to fix the regulator in the sticky section.
