Default Gs300 cluster

i've read something about the needles sticking, and i'm not sure when is it going to happen to me. i want to know how to prevent it from sticking. because my car is used, if so does anyone know where to buy a aftermarket one? i dont really like the greeenish glow to them. and if i can, can i put a third gen cluster in?

okay, well i read up some problems the gs300 clusters have, that over a certain amount of hours the needles will become slow and "sticky" because of the grease or what lexus put in the clusters. i wanted to know how to prevent this from happening, do i open it up and clean it or put washers in or something? If not i would love to put in the third gen speedo.

I dont know about that issue to much, my car is a 98' with 165 on the clock, and I never had any issues with the cluster needles sticking or anything like that. maybe some one else on here can elaborate on that.
