spark plug replacement @ 90k or 120k???

Default spark plug replacement @ 90k or 120k???

I searched. I can't tell if i'm supposed to replace teh plugs @ 90k or 120k.

I'm at 88k now. Car runs smooth and good..... Should i wait? or pop in a new set of NGK irridiums now?

its every 60k 2gs calls for Denso or Ngk last time i check, dunno about irdium

I changed mines at 44k. car was still running nice and smooth but just wanted to changed them to see if any performace can be gain out of it..i was very pleased how well the car performs afterward.. i say change them NOW! NGK iridiumX

I think NGK is better from what I hear. And now i hear tha ti don't have ot replace fro another 30k miles anyways.....

The plugs are 8yrs old. You should change them now. It may take you a while to hit 120k if you have a 01 with 90k on it.

The OP siad he had a 2001 430 which is 120K. The 60K is for a IS300 I think.

does age even matter? i thought it was just based on miles....

As the plugs get old they can get corroded at the threads making removal more difficult. Thats why when installing new ones you should coat the threads with antisieze.
