Sorry to hear you are getting other problems Brain.

Brain did you look in the codes thread in the DIY sticky: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...cel-codes.html

There are some ideas you can look at in the "Trouble Area" that may help.

Hope they stay gone.

Clear the CEL. Change new gas cap. If CEL comes on again, you have a purging problem or a defective canister.

i have the same 446 code and i replaced my cap and reset the ecu..code came back..so im thinkin its the purge valve as ive heard that its common that it gets stuck opened or closed..the canister, i heard rarely goes out..is there a DIY on changing the purge valve?

i said i did clear the CEL'S since then they havent come back on, but since i have owned car i have had 2 unexplained ones....they came on, when i was driving to my mechanics work...they were still on, go inside get him and scanner come out, crank car and they GONE...NO HISTORY NO NOTHING! So this time i left the car on....

but like i said since he cleared them, i havent seen them again yet!

so im gonna start doing some research i guess. i know im gonna look for a cracked hose on the purge valve....maybe a broken one, possibly a bad purge solenoid....what else do i need to know/look for?

I'm having the same symptoms and pull the same codes intermittently like you were.

Can you tell me where the Evap Control Valve is under the hood ?
