CEL Codes....what to do...
Anyways, 99% it will be the same code, and just follow those steps Brian. Just have the car raised, check for leaks etc. Also, I wouldn't change out all those o2 sensors, just the bank2 sensor2 one I was going to post before that I had wishful thinking like you, but I didn't want to jinx you

gonna feel around for some leaks when its not snowing here.....or freezing cold. its 28 degrees right now
To know if you got an exhaust leak, simple park your car in a quiet place so you can hear it. Turn on the car, put it in drive, one foot hold the brake, other put hit the gas and rev it up to about 2k rpms and you should hear like a muffle sound or a ticking sound.
On our cars we got 2 warmup twc cats and the last cat in the middle is regular 3 way cat.
So what's your CEL code?
BTW, if you are gonna change your headers, might as well change all of your air fuel ratio sensors and oxygen sensors.I'm saying this cuz i know you have money
You will feel the difference.

well, i did NOTHING to fix it but cleared the code and it went away for 3 months till it came back yesterday evening.....gonna go get the codes pulled and start from their. SIGH getting annoyed, a little bit at a time
i may chalk this one up to lousy gas, mistakenly pumped 87 and since i have had premuim back init, its gone off....although once it did turn off for a day or so then came back on.
knock on wood it stays away. i was gonna fix it when i did my headers but now i dunno when i will do them

I also had a P0446 code. I changed the gas cap then later got codes P0430, P0441, and P0446. My mechanic wants to replace the canister without looking at the car. But I want them to look for a bad hose first before I pay for a new canister. I've looked under the hood but don't see any visable bad hoses. Any help?
. but i want to my mechanic he just changed the canister sensor ($60). then the code is off. it never come back.
im assuming your referring to the 02 sensor man? i know i need them....or atleast one of them i just have a long list before that
That is a good sign. That means that the computer already went through a driver cycle and didn't detect the problem that's why theres nothing in the pending codes. I would take a good guess that you probably forgot to tighten your gas cap. Using 87 instead of 91, from my highest opinion would not turn on the MIL. Our PCM are very sophisticated, it's smart enough to compensate for the loss in power and would adjust ignition timing accordingly and still maintain the car's efficiency. Yes, you will lose power but it won't misfire.
