Default Is your GS rusting? =[

My GS was so clean before I came up to buffalo for school.... Now that it is warmer I went out to check on my GS and it seems like on all 4-doors theres hundreds of lil rust dots. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do =[? Rust is like cancer for the car!

On the paint? It may just be metal fall out - try clay baring it off. Then polish and wax.

I have a rust issue with my 99'
I have rust over my pass rear wheel
the body shop said I would need a new quarter, or sheet metal work
I'll have it fix soon as the weather breaks

99 California 2GS. No rust probs.

If you see some rust on your exterior. Clay it then use some touch up paint.

No visible rust on my 03. The car originally came from Washington State so I would think all that rain and even snow wasn't good, but there is no rust or corrosion. Now its with me in Hawaii with the hot warm humid climate and salt air, but so far still good.

ok i tried claybarring it! it gets off 95% of it. Someone told me to get rust remover? Does that actually work?

Now the question is what i can do to prevent it again hardcore waxing? O_O its still tooo cold for that though...

As for the 5% i cant get off will it get worse?

I live in the place where if anything is forecasted they salt the **** out of the roads...so I jsut don't drive it in the winter.

No reason to drive a nice Lexus in the snow. that's waht 500 dollar beaters are for.

Minnesota? Mine is rust free, keep my fingers crossed! I'm storing it over the winter so hopefully that helps.

Try a more aggressive clay.
