I use the clay bar with soapy water. Works better then the spray then the meguires kit provides.

i had some rust spots on my CW ES300
i used 3M's perfect it claybar with some meguiars ultimate quick detailer, some meguiar's ultimate compound and 2 coats of meguiars NXT tech wax and my paint is glossy as hell and the rust spots are no longer there
