Is it the light that indicates that you have a bulb out? The cars that come with a factory spoiler don't have a separate third brake light.

+1 and the only way to have that light off is to plug the bulb back in and let it sit somewhere for now until you decide to mod it in the new spoiler...This is one reason I don't want to remove my OEM spoiler...

That would be my thought as well, it's hitting the brake that makes it come on since you no longer have your third brake light hooked up. Your other option would be to remove the bulb itself. You won't know if one of your taillight bulbs go out but it'll get rid of that annoying dash light.

I assume the wattage from the spoiler LED light is so small that the Lamp Out Module does not sense it ....thus, no console light shows up.

No...the other way is to unplug pin #4 on the Lamp Out Module...and that light will be eliminated from your dash console.

When I took off my OEM wing I had no brake light warning either. You should check ur bulbs like denut stated.

maybe all of you guys that didnt get the light issue was because your spoiler was installed after the car was bought.

Did you have a rear deck 3rd brake light? I know on GS's that didn't come with the spoiler it had the 3rd brake light on the rear deck, but a dealer could still install a spoiler with the LED brake like as an option. On the GS's that came with a spoiler from the factory there is no deck mounted light at all, so if you remove the spoiler you have no option for a 3rd brake light anymore. At that point the car is illegal.

Yep; my car is illegal now. It doesn't have a 3rd brake light on the decklid. However, it should be very easy to splice into the plug that supplied power to the LEDs in the spoiler. Or a simple splice into the existing tail lights should be sufficient. It's just a matter of finding the 3rd brake light. I will look for one when I have more time.
