1999 lexus gs300
i just picked up a 1999 gs300 i want to put some new wheels on it im looking at some 22 inch wheels there 22 by 8.5 245/30r22 what do u guys think.

22's wheels are not my taste they are too big for the car. just do a nice set of 20's

Check out the Special Interest DUB forum for some pointers on wheels if 22+ sizes are you forte. The general 2GS population is not too fond of them.

yeah, if it were me i would put 20's if you got a full kit.... and 19's if you got a lip kit.... unless the lip kit brings you down as low as a full bumper body kit... then go 20's..... just my $0.02....

yeah.. 22s would be too big on the 2nd gen... ride quality might suffer compared to 20's

Rule of thumb,
17's too small, will create much problems... no heads turning.
20's perfect. Much heads turning

I say 21's max on the GS, but you would only be able to pull it off a la bluelex.
But first, work on the drop, then do some 19s or 20s and your GS will be sittin pretty. Good luck!
