I was sitting in a fast food drive through last night and as I was leaving I noticed the VSC and CEL lights came on. As I was pulling away, the gas pedal really did nothing. I almost had to floor it to get the car to move. I put it in park, shut the motor off for a minute and started it back up. The lights remained on, but the accelerator worked normally.

I was planning on taking it to an AAMCO pretty soon, but I'd appreciate it if I could get some advice here first.
