Default 2GS3 Foglight Mod

Year: 1998
Model: Gs300
Question:

Hey guys, I just bought a HID kit for my fogs. Whats the easiest way to do the foglight mod? I read you can just switch 2 wires around but what wires?
Also how can I make it that the Parking/City lights come on with the fogs?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike

banana's way is the most legit way to do it. i wouldnt think getting an hid kit would make it any easier. the hid simply will provide you with brighter lights.

you can, in theory, switch your low beam and fog light wires, but IIRC you have to have the same type of PnP kit on both so that the connectors match up exactly. Then, your fogs will light with your headlight switch on, and your low beams with the fog switch. the only adverse effect is that your fogs will flash with your beams with the switch off.

i figured it out...all i did was splice into the corner light power wire with the fog HID kit power wire and bam..instant fogs on with city lights..so you can have the fogs on just alone but it still looks sexy.

you also cant turn the fogs off whenever you want. but when you have nice HID fogs why would you want to? lol

But now you cant turn them off ever so long as your city lights and subsequently your headlights are on.

Its not that hard to do it right... but if it serves your purpose... then that's all that matters.
