Wood restoration?

Is it possible? How can it be done.. Off the top of my head, the first thing I think to do is sand them down with fine grit sand paper then spray with clear and buff... or just buff now that i think about it... anyways, anybody do this yet or have suggestions? Thanks

Are you talking about the wood trim inside the car? If so, I believe it's finished with something that can be treated much like your paint. I use Natty's Blue wax on mine and it looks great. I'd read up a little more before you hit it with paint polish but search the detailing forum, there's some good discussion on the wood trim there, you should be able to find enough info to get started.

I would buff and re-spray in clear at an autobody shop...

Yea that wood trim... and yea, thats why I'm asking here before I do something that will eff up our beautiful cars!
