Default swapping seats with other models?

The seats are probably one of my least favorite part of the GS. It's off centered from the center of the steering wheel and no lateral support.

Has anyone tried to swap seats? From say, an IS350, 3GS, Supra or anything that's more sporty? I also want to retain my power seats, memory, and heat if possible...or am I asking too much?

I do believe the track's should bolt right in. Not sure about the plugs you may have to splice them and switch out the plugs from seat to seat.

If you think GS seats are bad, try first gen LS seats, they are horrible. In fact, I love the 2GS seats, very comfortable, not tiring on long trips and not spongy either.

yeah, I bet the LS seats are not supportive at all considering the characteristic of the car.

If you have specific models and year I should be able to get you the wiring diagrams.

I should've clarified that I meant first gen LS. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th are much better.

I was wondering the same... The more sporty/supportive seats like in the 1IS may look strange... Kind of small for such a large car/interior like the GS. Here's what 'cha do: get your ratchet set, and remove your front two seats, test drive a 1st gen. IS by yourself, bring it home and transplant the seats into your car--you'll know if it's possible and you can take a couple pics for us all to see.

Oh, and put the seats back of course. They might notice a difference.
