Default What bulbs can I replace with Polarg M6 bulbs?

Hi there, I have a 02 GS 300.

I have some Polarg M6 bulbs that I had in my parking lights but I've changed my headlights to the Halo lights so those M6 bulbs aren't going to be used anymore.

Where can I put these bulbs--they're very nice and white and so I'd like to move them to somewhere else?

Will they fit in the license plate bulb area to give it that nice white look?

The bulbs I know are a bit larger than the standard 194/2825 bulb, which is why I ask.

Other areas I was considering putting these bulbs are:

Trunk/Cargo Area
Step/Courtesy light.

Same question though--will they fit?

how about heat? Is that an issue since the plastic in these areas are much closer to the bulb than in the headlight casing and also the headlight casing is made to withstand higher amounts of heat.

I just don't want to end up melting anything.

thanks.

ohh lets see...194 locations on a gs....

-courtesy (bottom of door panels)
-rear seat courtesy (in the headliner above the rear doors)
-license plate bulbs
-sidemarkers (if theyre clear...if theyre amber there's no point really)
-reverse lights

i think thats all...

Thanks, but can anyone specifically tell me if the M6 bulb will FIT in the license plate bulb housing or the courtesy bulb area (Because the m6's are BIGGER than regular 194's)

I know theoretically they are interchangeable, but I don't know practically if they do fit indeed.

Well if anyone wants to buy these bulbs, I have 3 of them.

I have 1 brand new bulb--in packaging, never opened.

I have 2 other bulbs, used for about 3 months, but functioning just fine. I have the original packaging. (handled only with nitrile gloves on, so no oil on the glass)

I bought them from this place:
http://www.eautoworks.com/product-Polarg-208.htm
for $8.50 a piece.

I could sell them all for $25 including shipping.

If interested, PM me. Thanks.

i'm nearly positive they'll fit. try it, its worth the shot.

i'm not sure about heat but i doubt you'll have a problem, as the factory bulbs produce a good amount of heat themselves.
