false.

in case you miss it, the user says the bulb type is not 9006, but it's H-something. You're probably looking at projectors on early 90's euros.

if you honestly think by paying $100 more for a built in HID kit AND they'll throw in quality projectors, then yes the newer version would be so much better

(btw HID kits are 50 bux).

Yes, they are the same projectors, they just added in the HIDs before they ship it. I believe the bulb is H7; I have these and regardless of how much people make fun of them they look very cool in my opinion. Another thing that is kind of cool is that just the right side projector; it flares upwards to the right so it REALLY helps reading signs on the side of the road at night. The cut-off is ok, but nothing like a S2000 or SC cutoff line.

I have these also... in the black... but what you are seeing on ebay is the same halogen set with an HID kit added on... nothing special... the build quality of the housing is cheap. The light output is good though. I would just buy the Halogen version, and buy an HID kit local if its available so that you at least have coverage on your ballast should they fail.

I think I'm going to be the first or one of the first to retrofit another projector into these headlights. The output just isn't good enough, I'm so used to my bi-xenons
