Engine Help 2JZ-GE
Wow went through the first page and nobody posted something meaningful
Your supra's 2jzge is rear-sump, and our cars have front-sump oil pan. You're going to need to change that. It's not difficult, but it's not cheap if you're not doing it yourself.
Also, you will need to use the gs harness and ecu to make it work.
It doesn't matter if the ge was mated to a manual or auto, it will bolt up without issues.
That's about it. For all this trouble you could just go with an aristo gte or build your blown ge.

i suggest finding another 2jzge from an is/gs for the most cost efficient route.
but for the most efficient performance to cost ratio, an aristo gte is the way to go
. It will definitely renew your love with your gs after something like this has happened.

I dont even have a 2GS. I own a 3GS. I just happen to aquire a 2jz-ge block with 11k miles on it from a 98 Supra. What to do with it? So I was thinking is it worth putting it in a 2GS? It only has 11k original miles on it. Should I not bother?
