if yours is gen3 and above, it means u made a bad copy
either a bad disc (crappy media), bad burner, or bad data files...

go with legits
its much safer

and no, you cannot revert back to 2000 disc
but you can revert back to 2002 and above usually
UberNoob, how do you tell you have Gen2 or Gen3? I must have Gen2, but really would like to find out....

98-00 first gen (hard drive based)
01 2nd gen (why would Lexus even do that???)
02-05 3rd
06 fourth (also painful, but at least the 06 enjoyed a much longer run as it was introduced early 05).
07+ fifth

Confirmed that Gen 2 (year 2001) which is what I got CAN NOT take burnt DVDs. I plugged in the OEM version, and works! Thanks all for help and hopfully help people decide should you get from FleaBay/CrickLIst.

I managed to get an OEM 7.1 DVD, and it fixed all of the problems.
