Default My first mod...

How to add an iPod to a pre-2001 GS and keep it pretty neat.

Granted, it's a kludge but it keeps things neat looking and keeps my iPod always charged.

Get yourself a cassette adapter with a nice thin wire, tuck into small cracks along the path to the center console. Wala!

The pics should explain it all and it looks pretty sano.

This looks pretty good. Great idea.

I had a similar idea once upon a time. I had though of drilling a hole in the bottom of the deck to drop the cassette adapter wire through so it would be completely hidden but I don't use my Ipod enough to justify the work involved.

I am in awe of the warm welcome and the open minds to accept my cheezy "mod" until I can do something better.
