Default Misfiring, HELP NEEDED.

Hey everyone,

I got the check engine light and VSC off lights. So I went to autozone, got a quick read and it said misfire No. 2 cylinder.

Long story short, I replaced the wires, plugs, and the coil that goes to the no. 2 cylinder and my car is still trembling and the lights are still on.

Also the throttle control motor seems to be knocking pretty loudly if your up under the hood, if this helps any.

Any help is appreciated,
Mike

Did they clear the code and it came back on or did they never turn it off? Also what was the actual code # (P####)?

clean you MAF sensor... i had simmilar problem with misfire and sluggish acceleration and a simmilar CEL but different cylendar... took it to a mechanic and he cleaned my MAF sensor and car felt like a world of a difference.... its easy to do jus look it up through the search tool... u can pick up air intake/throttle body cleaner from and parts shop or even MAF sensor cleaner if your lucky..

I've also read that a sticky injector can cause misfiring as the jet does not close when it is supposed to.
