I spent some time looking for another thread about this but ran out of patience. It's gotten much worse in the last month, it seems to be dripping about halfway down the A-pillar and dripping on my dash on the air vent!

Has anyone had their windshield re-sealed? How much did it cost? Any other cheaper remedies?

 

Has the windshield ever been replaced before? If not sure (pre-owned car?)see if the glass says either Lexus or Toyota on it. If not,it's probably been replaced before and the shop that installed it did not seal it well enough. Yes,there is a possibility that a factory glass could leak,but after all this time,probably not. If you have the glass re-sealed,there is a possibility that the glass may break upon removal. No glass shop will gaurantee that it won't. So be prepared if it does. I can't really think of any other solution. Also,did you remove the a pillar trim to narrow down exactly where it's leaking from? Could also be a sunroof drain tube clogged up and backing up causing water to enter the cabin. Good luck!!

mine is leaking to right in the same place as yours. everytime it rains it leaks in. but more when i get a car wash. there is some slight rusting on top of the winsheild
