hey guys i just got some chrome V8 emblems and i want to stick them on my fenders. but dont no how it would look. did any one do this yet? post pics!

i put mine in the mercedes/ bmw/ most high end cars location not on the back under the taillights. i think on the back looks really weird...

 

I also like it on the fender, the one on the back reminds me of an SUV ...

 

yeah suv exactly... have you seen the ones on the "nissan" titan??? the v8 emblems on that thing are like the size of cd cases.. i was wondering what a car would look like with those on it... my wife drives a scion xa and i joke with her about putting my lexus emblems on it (i actually saw this in japan last time i was there but not a xa something like a yaris) and the huge titan v8 emblems... haaarrrrrrr.....

Haha, i didn't notice that before ... I'm pretty sure he meant either the Toyota Tundra or the Nissan Titan ...

 

i have a pair(2) of custom gunmetal (that i painted) v8 emblems that came off the LX. pm me if u want pics and if wanna buy them, doesnt look that good on my LS.

yeah i forget that there are other japanese car companies other than toyota,,, they are all toyota in my head for some reason... (the best car company ever)..

 

i cant make up my mind where to stick them on. either on the edge of fender strip or on the upper part of the fender like sojah has.

 

well i put the mercedes chrome grill on took off all my badges and put these v8 emblems where mercedes puts theirs... now people who don't know are like is that a mercedes.... i say its better than a mercedes, cuz it has the european styling but with the japanese dependability. at the annapolis lexus dealership last year i drove up to the service line and guy was like can we help you... i said uhhh i have some questions about service and would possibly like you guys to do it for me... the guy was like umm uhhh aren't you at the wrong dealership... i was like i don't think so... then some other guy came over and said i think thats a 2nd gen gs...

not sure if the dude was just an idiot or just confused. people ask sometimes if i put a mercedes front end on it.. i say nope.. they ask if i did the body work in the back.. i ask what body work.. they say you know the cutting of the body and filling in of the gaps and holes.. if by that you mean pulling the emblems off and taking the glue off as well then i guess i did the work... hmmm...

well you know which location i vote for.

 

Since I have RMM logos on my fenders and right rear, I added just a V8 emblem to the left rear to balance things out.

I chose this emblem since it is smaller than the JUMBO size ones used on Trucks and SUVs

 

haha lol mercedes, well it does look similair for sure. i think im putting my emblems in the same place as yours. i will post up pics when done.
