Default bulbs in the climate control unit going out

most of the bulbs in my climate control unit has gone out and the words on my buttons do not light up. does anyone know if lexus sells the screw type bulbs with the green sleeves? if not does anyone know the specs of the bulbs so that i can see if they have them at radio shack?

i'm going change all of them at once seeing how it's such a pain to take the unit out.

You probably gonna have to open up the unit and test the voltage of the bulb and buy close replacements as I don't believe you will be able to find the exact bulb. Let us know if u do find the exact bulb.

i will definitely let you guys know but how do i test for the voltage of the bulb??

also, after a bit of searching online, i found that those bulbs are the "neo wedge" type bulbs. i don't know if they're type A or B though.

also, i just opened up my climate control unit again and on the base of the bulbs there's an "H" letter and also a number. I see numbers 4, 5 and 6. does anyone know what the number designates?

Convert to LED bulbs, better looking, and last longer

sorry, i don't. I did it long time ago. still work great, i love it every min
Basically, take out the OEM bulbs and solder the resistor in series with the LED. I don't remember exactly the value of the resistor, its around 560-680 ohm should be good enough
