Default Spark Plugs

Can someone please let me know what are the best spark plugs to get for 01' GS300? Also does anyone know where the sparks are located. Pics would be great, but if not, where I could find out. Thanks.

I've heard good things about Torque Master spark plugs but I don't know if that's just for the Lexus V8, I would imagine the I6 would have good results as well.

doest the car take both Hot and Cold plugs, or just one of them. And does anyone have pics or know the location of all six plugs.

The spark plugs are located down the centerline of the engine underneath the metal air intake and throttle body. There are 3 coils and 3 spark plug wires. The coils and wires are shared by 2 cylinders. You will have to remove the plastic engine covers and loosen the plastic air intake and loosen the throttle body to get access to coils and wires. Its going to take an experienced mechanic about an hour to replace the plugs. Inexperience will be longer. Also the plugs are all the same heat range. As far as best plugs. You cant go wrong with the OEM NGK or Nippon Desno plugs.

I have a 99 gs300 and according to oem it uses platinum plugs but the 2000 and up uses iridium, my question is can i use the iridium rather than the platinums b/c i rather change them every 100k for the iridiums rather than changing them at 60k for the platinums??? btw it is a pain in the u know what to change the plugs, I did it once before and it took me about 4 hours

Should be fine to use the iridium plugs, no major differences between the engines.

Use iridium. Denso or Ngk.
