The front did sit pretty flush but the rear not so much...

The 17s are 8" wide wheels and from my point of view a 20x8.5 +35 sits far from flush, but that's because I like aggressive offsets, they look good
However; you can't go much lower than that without moding fenders on the front, but the rears have a little more room to play with.
