HA! I got all of you guys beat. Not that this is something to be proud of or anything lol.

Ran out of gas about 7 times in my car already. Having a inaccurate fuel gauge sucks heh. 4 of those times I was lucky that I had a gallon spare in the trunk so I could get to the gas station. Other 2 times I was lucky that I was really close to a gas station. The one time that REALLY SUCKED *** was when it ran out on the side of the highway. I tell ya...it looks goofy as hell when you have 4 people pushing a new and modded Lexus down the highway for a half mile at 2PM. Pretty much every car that passed us, people were giving us the WTF look

And yes, I try to keep the tank at least half full at all times now. Thing is that when you hit full boost in this thing, it eats so much gas that it's hard to keep track of how much fuel is left. I calculate fuel by my odometer. I don't trust the damn fuel gauge anymore lol.

I never get to do this. Its a unsafely way that prove nothing. Imagine you have to make an emergency trip to save a life; could be yourself.
I used to fill at about 1/4 tank... it takes about 12-14 gal. Is less pain to spent $45 than $65 also.

I only went 13 miles today when my fuel light went on during my drive home. I have a habit of filling up at 1/4 tank also. I try to fill up early because I've been stranded before, its not fun especially when you're with a girl.

I get nervous every time it gets really low if I'm trying to get somewhere before filling up. The last time I did this I was staring at my gauge so much that I almost got in a wreck. Now I'll try to plan ahead to get gas even though I hate filling up

Jeff: you're still having this problem even though you're on AEM EMS? I thought this problem only exists if you're tuning via MAF map

i got 57 miles... from northridge to van nuys to glendale to downtown la and reverse of that. almost made it back home. then when i got on the gas, car didn't move lol. so i back off and got back on the gas gently again, car started moving again. well luckily next block was a gas station. almost didn't make it again, sat on the light too long cause a car stalled in front of me. but... finally made it. will never do it again!

well, compare to my SC, the "low fuel" light on my GS comes on way too early. The light came on when I was like 320 miles on the tank (a little below ¼ tank). I thought to myself, "isn't that too early?" So I drove another 90 miles until I got home and drop my stuff off then back to the gas station. The gas nozzle stop at around 18.9 gallon. I thought to myself again, "I could have gotten something to eat too before I came here with a gallon of gas left"
but.....I wouldn't recommend; anyone doing the "run until shut-off"; it's bad for internal combustion engines.

I second that...my light turns on when I have used around 15 gallons...giving me another 3.8 gallons of fuel left. So I have gone 80-100 miles after the fuel lamp turns on...Even then I only filled around 18 gallons...
