Default Just Got LED Tails - Can I remove these???

I just bought these LED Tails from ebay, what I want to know is, what are these 3 gold things and can I remove them?

Those look like resistors that correct the voltage so the dash light doesn't light up. I guess you can remove them but then you'll have the light out warning on the dash.

dang Mine were very clean I havent seen that before unless someone rigged it up you might have to keep it like that inorder for the dash light not to pop up ?

I myself took them off. They're quite cumbersome and didn't know where to put them since I didn't want them to get wet. Also they get pretty hot, to the point to where I almost burnt myself installing them. I say cut them off and take off the dash light like I did.

Lexxo when I cut them off should I just join the wires that are at both ends of each of the resistor?

usually resistors are in wired in series, you might want to look at it before joining the cut wires.
