Hi, I was just looking at ebay and was wondering if those universal q45 projectors were any good or should I wait to buy some oem ones? I want to retrofit my headlamps with some in the near future.

 

I haven't seen them yet but as the saying goes if there cheap than you get what you pay for.. Its a Lexus not a Kia. Buy quality parts.. GL..

Those universal Q45 projectors are not real ones. Quality doesn't look as good as the real thing. Plus it's not HID. If you just want the Q45 look, then go for it. But you might as well spend a hundred more or so to get the authentic Q45.

 

The Ebay Q45 is a halogen projector, not HID. The optics are completely different. The rear one can be had for around $350-400 range. Just spend the extra money, you won't regret it.

 

I'm willing to spend the extra when I'm ready to do my retro fit... but where do you guys buy them from???
