Post Electronic Short [ABS VSC VSC OFF]

I have a short on my 2000 GS3. now when i use my AC, or Rear Defroster a ABS, VSC VSCOFF turns on. and i read on the other threads of this light problem but i notice no side effects when the light turns on while driving. Does anyone know where the Rear defroster Fuse or relay or anything? im tottaly lost. any comments would really help guys. thanks!

p.s; is the rear defroster susposed to stay on ? cause when i press it and it stays on but less then 5 mins later its off.. im not quite sure if its susposed to stay on or not.

You know..I dont notice how long mine stays on for because usually the windows are defrosted by the time I turn off the car.

Are you within the 714 area? My buddy has a shop that can scan your car for codes. Not only will he read codes that are making your lights turn on, but pending codes too. Most shops do not have the Toyota/Lexus scanner, mainly because it's at least $5000 Either that, or go to the dealer, but they'll charge you a $90 diagnostic fee. My buddy will read your code for you for free as long as you drive to the shop

Man, I need your buddy to hook his tool up to my car so I can bleed out my ABS system lol. I'm about to buy the tool myself. It's a PC based version so much much cheaper than the standalone Toyota tool heh.

It's near bolsa and beach blvd. I forgot the exact address but I will PM you when I get it tonight.

This guy is a great guy. He has a GS400 also and is a toyota/lexus master tech for close to 8-9 years now. He's also great with installing the Daizen control arm bushings that most other shops wont touch
