Well, I've been having this issues for few weeks. My problems were that the tilt& telescopic was working sometimes and sometimes it didn't. So i took apart the panels to see what was wrong,I hear a clicking noise coming from the tilt ecu. I ended up buying the used whole column with the motor attached. I took out the motor from the column and put power thru the motor to see if it was working or not. I found out the motor spins,but when it's attached to the column it doesn't work and i hear the clicking again. I know it's not the motor,so my question is what else could it be? Could the grease inside is so dirty that it won't move the gears even tho the motors working? I saw a old post here about the regreasing part,but I can't understand which one to take apart,since there is no pics,so if anyone could help me out with some pics,that would be very greatfull.

 

could anybody speak up on this? my column moves up and down, but not back and forth....it's all the way in and it's REALLY uncomfortable.
