Default CF Interior mods..

I was thinking of getting a cf adhesive and decorate the interior of my GS. I despise those cf pattern vinyls so I'm going to use these real CF sheets.

I'm going to order some now and i'll post some pics when i get it..

Nice... I thought about doing the same thing a while back. What thickness did you go with? What parts do you plan on doing?

Yeah, I'd like to know how it goes - if it is in fact real CF. Be sure to post an update once you get it please.

Yes it's real CF. Basically a single sheet weave of cf backed with an adhesive. If you plan to use it on the exterior, then you will need to clear coat over it or else it will get messed up really fast.

How easy is it to cut it? I would like to use it to cover some interior parts.

a good set of sheers or a fine blade will do the trick. be careful around edges and curves though

It depends on the thickness of the CF sheet. All these are are sheets that you can get and then you can cut them and some thin ones will even mold to an extent (no crazy curves tho)

If you check out "carbon sheet" on ebay you can see some of the weaves and thicknesses.

I'm searching but I've seen this done to cars. I saw a great write-up with pics on a new Audi A4 but I can't find it.

These sheets can actually be cut with household scissors. They're very flexible and the do not make any mess when you cut it with regular scissors.

I just got my blue cf sheet for looks and the quality is amazing.

Comes with instructions too!
