outer tail lights have a 2 10mm bolts that need to be removed from inside the car and you can see them after you peel back the carpeting. There are 2 more bolts that need to be removed on the outer part of the car but they are only exposed after opening the trunk lid and remove two plastic covers with a small flat head screwdriver.

once you remove the 4 bolts, you can pull the tail light off and then twist and pull out the bulb plugs.

good luck.

As far as the inner tail lights, uhhhh- I think there are small openings in the carpet that will allow you to remove them. i forget.

in my 01, u dont have to peel back the trunk carpet. there are 2 plastic caps that u unscrew (1/2 turn) and they come out. then u need the deep socket 10mm to remove thru those holes made accessible

the trunk lights have like square 3x3 opening. one side is held up by velcro. open that side and it folds down. there are 2 10mm bolts (use deep socket)

I cant find the access to the trunk light bulbs. Can someone help me?
Or do I have to take off the entire carpet?
