I found a shop that has some barely used axis shine wheels for sale. They are 19 x 8.5(et35) and 19 x 9.5(et40). The tires are 235/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in back. How would these fit an '01 gs430 and what should I offer for these? They also come with some yokohama tires in pretty good shape.

 

They'll fit just fine. $1600-$1700 sounds like a fair price for both parties.

 

id start lower, but that just is me. i heard some people getting great deals for axis with tires for about 1500-1800.

 

the place that has them said they paid $4000 for them and they will let them go for $3000. I think I will stop by and make my offer hehe..

 

you gotta figure since the tires are used, they should be worth just less than a grand; making the wheels worth 2 grand? oh hell no. sorry, but hell no would i pay 2 grand for a 1 piece xxx wheel! if you really like them, i'd suggest what sleeper408 said, offer 1600-1700. if they dont take the offer, have a nice day and keep looking. you can get much better for 3 grand you'd spend.

sorry, had to add this: if the place who has them paid 4 grand for these wheels with or without tires (even if tires were a grand), they are blowing more than smoke up somewhere. sorry, i just dont like it when places or people really try to b/s others. i rather try to help thosse who i can. anyway, its your $ and your decision. i really suggest you check the wheels classifieds here instead or call Derrick at D2.

 

$4000?!? They are full of crap. You can get BRAND NEW 19" Axis Shines with tires on Ebay for $2340 shipped. I just checked.

Im not going to walk in there and give them what theyre asking. I was thinking of going in there and offering like $1500. I know what the wheels are worth and they day I came back from the shop I looked them up to find out that brand new all of it would cost me no more than $2500. I have asked around about this shop and people say their stupid and dont know what theyre talking about, but if I can get the wheels for cheap then why not.

And trust me ill never spend 3g's on used wheels. What I really want are trafficstars..hehe

 

I'd buy 25mm spacers for all four corners before putting those on....
