you definitely need to do some fender mods and down size those tires quite a bit but I say GO FOR IT

do you know if it's possible if i could go with the tires that come with the rims and roll with it and get a higher offset tires once they wore out? will this fix the problem with the tires sticking out to much in the back?

lol those will not fit, you can possible make the rim fit with a super stretch, but the rims will stick out like a good 1cm past your fenders. And 285 rear tires will definitely not fit, unless you want to destroy your rear fender.

No bro, def do not "just do it". This will absolutley not fit, unless you dont care about destroying your fender walls.

I'm at:

Front 19x8.5 - 225/35/19 23 offset
Rear 19x9.5 - 245/35/19 27 offset (a 22 offset would put me perfectly flush)

I did fender mods with this set up as well and I don't rub, but barley...

running a 255 front is straight unheard of on an IS, WAY too big! And the biggest I've ever seen on an IS is a 275/35/19 in the rear and the thing looks like a drag racer tire... ugly IMO.

like I said, DO NOT 'just do it'

It will fit with different tire sizes and fender rolling and flaring. Do a 225/35 and a 245/35. You can make them fit.

There is a difference of taking it to the limit of style and looks, and forcing something that doesn't belong to fit haha

I like how yours look tho

I agree with you but these offsets arent too bad. There only a few mm more aggressive than my wheels. Im going to run spacers soon because I flared my fronts so much that my wheels dont even look aggressive so I'll be in the same boat as this guys, maybe a lil more aggressive. IMO I think these wheels look good (specs that is, I dont really like the wheels)

Yes. Get those tires sizes, flare and roll the fenders. Get coilovers cause your gonna need the stiffness and the camber will help you. You will rub the fender liner for a while and probley make holes in them but thats about it.

i really like your set up, but do i really need coils, cause i just recently got springs dont feel like switchign them out when i just gad it on. do u think i could get by with just rolling my fender or do i need to flare it too?
