Alright, I think I'm going to keep the '01 tails and sell the cleared tails. I have NO IDEA of how to price these things before I put them in the classifieds. Any suggestions???

BTW, if I decide to debadge my car - which emblems should I take off? Just the "GS400" or the "Lexus" also? I have seen a member on here with the "Lexus" emblem still on the left and had a chrome "V8" on the right. What do you think?

I would go with the 01+ tails. They just make the car look more modern

I think you made the right choice. The '01 tails have a cleaner less cluttered look (more subtle) and as a previous poster mentioned, they repeat the shape of the inner trunk lights in their lens which give the back end a more coherent look. The finish on the black paint looks great BTW, now consider getting a JDM chrome trunk for the rear to give it a bit more "pop".

Just wanted to throw a different idea into the mix.....I pretty much have the same car...black 430. I lightly smoked the clear/amber portion of the 430 tails. It looks different depending on the way the light hits the car. I haven't seen anyone with it....just thought I'd give you a different option. I think you should leave all of the badges on the car....it looks clean as is.
