I need info on its effectiveness and how to install them without removing the mufflers. I would like to just hammer them in place without welding, so in case they rattle, or don't work, or whatever else, I can just remove them without a trace. My concers is if they would stay in place after expanding and contracting daily.
If welding is the answer, did you get them done without damage to your tips, or blowing a hole on the pipe? That stuff is nasty. I also don't want a crappy look since you can see pretty much all the way in from the back of the car.
Thanks for your comments people, and merry Christmas to all.
hi juan,
the venturies don't go at the back of the borlas, they go at the front ,just inside where it bolts onto the pipe.they tacked in spot welded in(2or3), so that they are eaisly removed if you do not like the sound.
clive
Hey Clive, you got me worried man. The instructions said they should be after the muffler (as I remembered them; I threw them way), and the borla guy told me (when I called to request them) I could just "interference" push them in without removing the mufflers. That's why I wanted to check with you guys before doing anything.
Are you; sure they go in the back? Do you have them Clive? Could you describe the changes in resonance, and sound (if any)?
