Pulling the trigger on wheels...
...and wanted to get a last minute fitment check.
Axis Hiro's
Front: 19 x 8.5 (35 offset) w/ 245/40/19
Rear: 19 x 10.5 (35 offset) w/ 275/35/19
One place said no fender modification would be necessary. Is this correct? (Another place said there's no way they would fit.)
Any thoughts/opinions on sizes and fitment issues?

The place offers a %100 fitment guarantee, but I still don't want to deal with the hassle of packaging, shipping, and arguing if they don't fit.

Shoot D2(derrick) a PM and check with him before you pull the plug.. I got my Hiros from him and it was a great transaction and he should be able to tell you if they fit or not.. GL..
I talked to Derrick on the phone earlier today and we discussed it with the 9.5 out back. He told me there wasn't much difference between the lip on the 9.5 vs. the 10.5, but I later found it's an extra inch on the 10.5. That made the 10.5's a must-have for me. I really wanted to get the rims from Derrick, but he doesn't have them right now and I need to order these ASAP. Consequently, I didn't want to ask him all kinds of fitment questions when he's not going to be able to get the sale

It mostly depends on the tire; some run wide, others do not.
The front should be pretty straightforward. You may encounter some rubbing
on the plastic splash shields (fender liners) when reversing with the wheels
turned, but otherwise the fender clearance should be good.
The 275/35-19 is "tall" for the GS (about 1" oversize) and won't stretch much
due to the tall sidewall. A 265/30-19 or 275/30-19 would give you a better
chance of not having the tires not rub the fender lip.
10.5 +35 sits the same as 10.0 +29 or 9.5 +23 for comparison.
Is your car lowered?
Anyone care to place a little wager on whether or not the rears will fit?
I'm in... 3/1 that they'll rub.

Well, they called me today and said that after further research, I would need to stretch a 255 on there AND add negative camber to keep if from rubbing with the 10.5's. I conceded and told them to get me the 9.5's.
They called me later and said they only had the 9.5's in a 55 offset and not the 35. They said that it isn't a big deal though since all I would have to do is put spacers on. Yeah, I'm gonna pay ~$2800 and have to use spacers. Forget that.
