need help car vibrates

Default need help car vibrates

sup everybody! i search the forums to see if anyone else has the same problem i do but no one does so anyways my problem is when i drive my gs430 on the freeway once i hit 60mph its starts to shake and vibrate and when i get to about 70mph and gets all smooth. what could be the problems besides my tires cause i already got them rebalanced and aligned? any help would be appreciated.

My uncle's 1993 LS400 does that too. Never figured out the problem, and it never bothered him enough that he had to fix it.

wheel bearings? ...also check your bushings in you suspension.

Maybe your lower ball joints need to be replaced. If you find that they have to much play, this can cause some vibration and shiftiness at freeway speeds

Check the tire balance. That sounds like the problem.

^yup. if it's at the same speed every time it's usually tire balance. if it's inconsistent it could be something else.

If you have had the tires balanced, you could have a bent rim. Rotate the tires and see if that changes or eliminates the vibration. If so you have a balance or bent rim issue. If not, something in the front end is worn out.

went to go get them balanced but the guy was like my tires are uneven and the tires all dont have the same wear, so yeah. i guess i need new tires to make and drive smoothly

if all of your tires are uneven, and you have different tread wear, you need and allignment as well.

Depending on your mileage, and how many parts are worn, I would change the balljoints and tierods before the allignment. Remember, these balljoints fail at around 70k miles, so consider doing that as well.

i ride only has 43xxxmiles on it. but yea i will do the alignment once i get new tires.
