Default Taillight crossover

Okay i want to get the the '01+ tail lights upgrade, but I've being told that they is a crossover as far as the harness, for a direct plug and play is this true? anf if it is true what year those it start taking affect? thanks

the 01 taillights have a diiferent harness than the 00 taillights. its a plug in play deal. i might be selling my 01 taillights on my car. let me know if you are interested.

The lights are plug and play. 01+ lights have a completely different harness. You would simply remove your lights / harness and replace them with the new lights and harness.

Quick and Easy.

Also, don't forget to re-set the ECU (take off negative battery cable for about 20 min) because you'll probably get a light malfunction indicator on your dash.

Thanks man, I got '01+ on their way, still tryong to keep that OEM look, if not I would have gone with LED's tails

hey man i got those 01 taillights off and boxed up and ready to be shipped out after work at 4pm texas time. so you should receive them the later part of this week. let me know when you receive them. thanks again

not the case. this doesnt have to be done for a stock 01+ tail swap, youll be fine, no lights on the dash. just obviously make sure the cars off and the lights are off when you do the swap
