tuning with a safc is as close as you can get.
split second has a piggy back computer that will mess with timing and fuel, i am not sure about VVT, but you can call them and ask. the unit sells for $500 or so. search split second, they have a s/c with squeeze GS4.

The problem with the Jet Performance Chip imo is that the performance gains aren't worth the cost. I don't remember the numbers but it's not an increase of 30hp.

Since your cars are naturally aspirated, it's kinda hard to get major power out of them without really dropping money.

If you want "cheap" power, go boost and then start looking for tunes.

Ironic - I know.

Trust me cheap and boost do not go together. If you want cheap HP, there is nothing like the good old squezee
just like anything, it takes money. Although, at the end of the day the FI factory vehicle will produce more HP/TQ compared to a non FI with the same amount of money.

The wiring hooks up to the ECU. The module itself can be placed anywhere you want.

Ebay is a good place to look for SAFC II. They usually go for $200 or so.

It's the best thing you can do right now. Fine tuning your car will extract the most out of your current mods. However, it seems like you have limited knowledge on the SAFC so i highly recommend you getting a dyno shop to tune your car.

I don't think it messes with timing at all...I think it deals strickly with AF ratios like SRT's piggback ECU does.
If the Jet is like the ECU, it'll adjust for air/fuel comphensation only. What's impossible with our cars, short of a standalone engine management system, is tuning the timing. We have the VVTI valvetrain system in the way. One of the bigger reasons why many guys prefer the non-vvti I6 and V8 is because the ease of tuning relative to the vvti variants.
