Mine is: GS4 y2000:
1- I saw a clouster picture, perhaps a 2001 model, and it have a "4" instead of "M" in the drive gears.
Does it really down to fourth when you change from D?? Mine stay in top gear unless I switch down in the steering.

2- Does these GS model have any light in the shift stick (floor) that indicate the gear position?? Mine is totally dark. My wife ES 300 have lights indicating
the gear in the padle shifter and in the clouster.
