I am about to get some new wheels. I just sold my Work VS-xx's today.
I know the front 19x8.5 (+38) offset will fit.
Will the rear 19x10.5 (+50) clear the caliper?
Thanks in advance!

I had a 17x9 with a +35 offset in the rear. With the new calculations (10.5 width and +50 offset), I get this:
Your new wheel will have the following chracteristics:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 34mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 4mm
Will it even clear the strut/spring?

I am running my stock 17" 5-spoke, which as a +50 offset. I will clear the fender. They will be 4mm further out than the Works, which had plenty of room.
I am just worried it will not clear the strut/shock assembly.

You are fine, but please get a 2nd opinion. I was a 19x10 +40 at one point with no issues whatsoever....and by the looks of it you will have 10mm less cleaance than I did which equals ----10 millimeter = 0.39inch
Edit: I was 275/30 at the time

I know what you mean. This the first time I had to ask a question like this! Thanks a lot for your help. I did it with the 10in width instead of the 10.5 and it is 28mm, which converts to about 1.1 inches.
I think it will fit. I just have to make sure.

Did you have a BBK at the time? How well did it clear? I am worried that the insides of the spokes will hit the stock caliper.
If you are just worried about the caliper hitting the inside face of the wheel then I am 99% certain that this will never happen. I have super low disk set up on my rears right now and have plenty of room for the stock caliper. Super low disk is the lowest disk profile you can have, so I'm sure any other disk profile would work.

imo it will probably fit. But the what you should think about is the fact that you are using a +50 offset on a car which you should be using low offset. I dont think that those wheels will sit right on the gs with those offsets. But one thing is that if you do buy these wheels you can shave down the offsets to a lower offset.
