Smile Chrome Trunk trim for GS300?

Anyone with the chrome trunk lid trim with the 3M tape?

Seen it on Ebay for $45. Looked good but wondering if anyone has it. And how well does it match the other chrome pieces.

Or should I shell out the $105 at Carson Toyota for the actual bar?

Appreciate any comments.

Thanks!

You should definately go with a full replacement one, carson is the way to go

I love my stick on, 3 yrs on and still looks good. No one knows the difference until I tell them. Thank You Ebay.

Get the full bar... it's awesome. Perfect fit. Just a quality piece.

i'd say go for the full bar.. not too much more and you won't have to deal w/ tape if you decide to remove.

Looks great. Does the chrome match exactly with the Lexus emblem? I heard there was some problems with it not matching - and being off color slightly.

Do you have a pic of yours? Is it very difficult to put in? Chrome match exactly? I have to assume so since it is from the dealer. I am leaning toward the whole bar replacement.

Did you put it in yourself? Was it difficult to do? I am leaning toward the whole bar. Thanks for your comment!

No problem whatsoever, like I said most people don't know until I mention it. Very well contructed and yes it's held on by tape but I still haven't had problems, ironically I had the single 1 piece replacement chrome but sold it due to not wanting to take the inner liner in my trunk off. Personally not worth the money for a chrome trim piece. But I am a cheap bastard.
