I'm having problems coving my car with the car cover. I just applied two fresh coats of zaino on my new paintjob. Took me 15min to put on cover cuz that thing keeps sliding around.

Same thing happened to me. I had to keep chasing the cover as it slid to the opposite side of the car. Neighbors must have had a great laugh at me expense.
Living in NYC and all the rough weather my GS needs a great car cover. I park in a private backyard but open space. Need something durable especially that snow is coming soon enough.
Anyone has bought one? Is the OEM Lexus good or get an aftermarket custom one made. Thanks!
Thinking of going with Noah? Anyone has one?

I got their Stormweave cover for my car. Love it. They welcome custom fitment too in case you have a body kit or non-factory wing.

I have a Noah cloth one and an OEM Lexus cover. Even with my bodykit, the OEM cover fits great and I'm very impressed with its quality. I use it outdoors, the other if I store indoors.
Hello all -
For those of you parking outside (...not garaged) and perhaps using a car cover, do you tend to leave-them-on on those rainy days (?), or do you think its better to take them off for use on sunnier, drier days ?
I've heard two (2) opposite schools-of-thought on this which are, (a) its better to not use them especially when wet for fear of trapping moisture against the paint long-term and (b) I've a friend who uses them year-round, winter and summer with no apparent ill effect(s) - rain or shine
...your thoughts please -
thanks

I park my car outside rain or shine so the fact that using a car cover only during sunny days makes no sense to me. You have to buy the right cover in order to be able to use them year round. I am investing in a cover within the next month and I will be using it all the time, rain, snow or shine.
great company and looks to be nice covers but the price is crazy. Personally I will be getting one of these http://www.buyautomotive.com/customcarcovers.html
damn it. i wish i had read this thread like a month ago. i heard good reviews about noahs car cover and i must say it fits tight and is without a doubt made for the gs300 but its not water proof or water resistant. when it said water resistant i believed that it would keep the water off the car the cover would get wet. its just soaks up the rain water and morning dew and makes the car wet. taking off is somewhat a task when its soaking wet.
i guess
noah = not all weather. so i use it during the dry summer days only even when parked in my carport.

But expensive as heck.
