I've just discovered a shreeking sound when the engine is cold and the AC unit turned on. I have been able to isolate the sound to one of the fans behind the radiator. If I turn off the AC for a few seconds and back on again the sound is gone.

I wasn't quite able to determine if both fans turn on and off with the AC, or one is stricktly for the engine.

So my question? Which one is tied to the AC and is it tough to change? Any ideas on the cost?
