Balance your tires yet? Are you on aftermarket rims?

Do you have hubcentric rings for your wheels? If not, your wheel will not be centered with the rotor.

Just to clarify, do you only need hubcentric rings when running a 5x112 wheel on a Lexus (5x114.3)? Or does it depend on the make/model of the wheels and that some wheels actually require them even though it is drilled for our bolt pattern?

first off, many threads on vibration, look here and in suspension...

cheap aftermarket rims will cause vibration and that is the one area you dont have much control over. balancing tires on the Hunter Roadforce helps but wont fix cheap rims. A normal alignment may or may not help I have found, I had 4 alignments, paid for only one, and they were stumped. Had 1 roadforce and it took 80% of the vibration away.

aside from that, pretensioner, steering rack bushings, alignment, warped rotors are all things you may want to consider as well.

good luck.

I had similar problems with my 18" ltuned rims. I had intermittent vibration in the steering wheel. I still had the problems after replacing the tires and several standard balancings. Eventually, the road force balance indicated the problem.

The roadforce balance solved 80-90 percent of my issue. With low profile tires and a tight suspension near perfect balance is needed to eliminate vibrations.

Heres to vibration free steering wheels :-)
