Default Removing Ashtray Unit?

Does anyone have detailed instructions or tips on how to remove the ashray unit and cigarette lighter? I am going to make a custom bezel to hold the safc and it will take their place so I can keep it stealth. I just don't want to break anything in the removal process because I have never disassembled one of these yet. Thanks.

It's very simple and you won't break anything.

Just tug on it till it pops out. It is held in the back back by two plastic holders that are very sturdy.

Don't worry, you won't break anything.

Its held in by 2 clips. Open the ashtray and just pull it straight out. Kind of like a 45 degree angle. Basically up towards you. Just don't be afraid to give it a good tug.
Once its out, remove the plug in the back. Its pretty simple.

You can pull like everyone else said, but for some reason my ashtray was extra sturdy even though I was using a lot of force. Instead of breaking something, I did this. If you have a pick tool, you can do the same...
