Default Need help determining car's worth...

I've been looking for a GS300/430 for close to 2 months now. This past weekend, I sold my wife's BMW and am looking harder than ever to replace the car for her with something equally nice.

I found a car that has much of what I'd already mod a non-modded GS with, and much of what I wouldn't.

Here's the car:

The mod list includes:
Motor
Rod Millen Intake, L-tuned ECU, L-Tuned Exhaust, Unorthodox Cam Gear, Unorthodox Pulleys, Apexi SAFC, TRD Shiftknob, Tom's Radiator cap, TRD Oil Cap

Wheels, Brakes
20" LSportline Model 1, RMM complete brake upgrade (not sure what this all includes)

Suspension

Cusco Rear Strut bar, TRD Front Strut Bar, TRD Lower suspension brace, Tom's Rear Suspension Brace, Eibach Springs, L-Tuned Shocks, TRD Sways

Body
LSportline Body kit (with grill), Carbon Fiber hood, UGO Eyelids,

ICE
Clarion h/u, Clarion disc changer, 2 Xtant amps, 2 xtant 12" subs, 2 TV's in headrest, TV tuner, Kove interior speakers, Playstation with wireless controllers, Wireless headphones for rear monitors.

Misc
Strobe kit in tail lights, foglights, and headlights; Underglow neon kit, neon kit in trunk.

The car has 29,000 miles on it, and is a model year 2000. It seems to be in immaculate condition. What do you all think this car is worth?

The seller is including all the stock parts he has on hand. From what we could find in his garage, that includes: front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, sideskirts, and hood.

Looks to be in good shape. But without knowing if its a 300 or 400 is hard to say... Lots of tasty mods done for sure!

Does the tire look like it needs some air or is that just me?

it's a 300 i'm assuming (since unorthodox only makes pulleys for the 300)

looks like a nice car.. don't know about the neon in the grille, but aside from that it looks ok.. get some new wheels.. brakes are good.. kit is good, i don't like the eyelids, but overall good stuff! (this is my MO as well)

This car is for the wife? I would keep it for my self and ditch the rims. Nice find

Definitely ditch the rims and neon (IMHO). Maybe add a torque converter. You might want to find a 430, i initially looked at the 3s but am glad i got the 4 (IMO)

Actually, yes. It does look like the tire needs some air.

I definitely don't like the lighting mods at all. I'm kind of up in the air about the strobe set up in the headlights and the tail lights, but more than likely, those would be pulled out as well, if I bought the car.

I don't like the eyelids on the main headlights, those would be probably replaced by some thinner, trimmer eyelids.

As for the wheels, that's another thing. In pictures, I don't like the "blingy Dub" style....that's what they look like to me.

However, in person, the L-Sportlines really look at home on the car. They seem to flow very nicely.

I have more of a affinity to the JDM, VIP thing. I'd definitely be interested in swapping out the wheels for something to the likes of some Work, Weds, or Fabulous wheels down the road.

This is will be my wife's car; here are my two cars (weekend toy and daily driver):

And yes, it's a car for the wife. Here's what we got rid of last weekend:

5-spd, 325Xi with quite a few mods on it.

Nice rides What was wrong with the 3 series? It is a better wife mobile than the GS.

the gs is super clean too but the rims don't work for me.
hey, don't know much about values of cars but if u ever get it and pull off the eyelids, i'll take them off u.

It is? Why, how so?

Nothing was wrong with the BMW. The odometer had climbed up to 90k miles. The wife is pregnant and is due at the end of December. I just wanted to get a lower mileage car before the baby comes, and didn't want to worry about her driving a higher mileage car with a baby in tote.

I know that the GS's can run 100k+ miles worry-free with scheduled maintenances, and it is more comparable in size to a 5-series than the 3-series. Having more carrying capacity (trunk and rear seats) is kind of important.

Also, I will be selling my Integra to get into a Honda Element for a more practical car as well to carry the big dog and the kid on longer drives. I just thought the GS would be a nice luxury piece in the line-up with the S2000 and the eventual Element.

The 325xi is 4 wheel drive, more stable and better balanced than that GS. imo. Easier for a woman to drive than the bigboat GS. Hey kill two birds with one stone. Instead of getting a Honda Element and GS, get the BMW x3 It handles just like the 3 series (which its based on), no body roll at all, tons of safety features including airbags everywhere. I just got one and I am in love with it more so than my GS

How much do you want to spend?.......I know someone that is selling a nicely modded 02 GS430. Your gonna regret getting a 300 if you want some pep.
